Airmen Selection Centre, Ambala conducts ‘Scheduled Tests for  Airmen Recruitment’(STAR) and recruitment rallies for induction of eligible youth as airmen from its area of jurisdiction {Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh (U/T), Jammu & Kashmir (U/T) and Ladakh (U/T)} This selection centre also undertakes extensive motivational publicity initiatives/outreach programs at schools and colleges in its area of responsibility.

MOBILE APP: MY IAF

With an aim to augment its publicity initiatives and to reach out to the aspirants at the grassroot level, Indian Air Force has launched a mobile App called ‘My IAF’on 24 Aug 2020. This app is a one stop digital information interface that provides answer to all career related information and guides aspirants on how to join the IAF. The app format is user friendly and assists them with information on selection procedure, training curriculum, pay & perks etc; for both officers and airmen categories in the IAF. The app also provides glimpses of the IAF history and depicts the valour of its brave airwarriors. The app is available for download in ‘Google Play Store’ free of cost.
